Don't make me think

Article Intro

The holy grail for web design and web development

Article Body

Don't make me think was I think my first UX / Web Development' book that I read. It was just before starting Le Wagon and so many UX'ers on instagram and Medium had recommended the book, so naturally I ordered it and started reading. It is written in a way that you can almost finish it within a day, it is as Steve is directly talking to you and explaining you a website sitting next to you.

Throughout my coding bootcamp the book was always slightly in the back of my mind and I think it was for sure my first lesson in good UX. I think it is still in the back of my head when I am at work now. It has very practical explanations and it really makes you consider how to design or build a no nonsense website. I think any newcomer in the field of UX / UI / Web Development should read this book, but also read the book again once he or she has gained more experience. I know I will for sure, just as a refresher and perhaps I will look at some of the content differently.

Article Wrap

This is a must read for anyone working in UX / UI / Web development. People haven't lied when saying it is the holy bible of webdesign.
